11 new COVID 19 cases were confirmed positive on 31st March 2020. So far Uganda has a total of 44 confirmed cases of COVID19.

In a Television Address to clarify on the preventive measures President Yoweri Museveni issued on Monday night against the spread of COVID 19, he said out of the 176 people tested, 11 of them tested positive.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Health, Dr Henry Mwebesa, the Director General Health Services said the 11 new confirmed cases were all under institutional quarantine at the time of test.

Dr Henry Mwebesa said so far 1,015 people are under follow up and under institutional quarantine.
