3 new COVID-19 cases confirmed on 2nd May 2020.

 3 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Uganda on 2nd May 2020.

The confirmed cases are, 1 Kenyan and 1 Burundian who arrived via Malaba border point and a 22-year-old Ugandan male from Rakai District.

The total of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Uganda are 88.

The 2 confirmed cases (Kenyan and Burundian) were out of 1,922 samples from truck drivers while the One (1) sample (Ugandan male) was out of the 562 samples from the community.

The Ugandan male entered Uganda from Bukoba, Tanzania via a porous border. He is currently staying at home with his parents and efforts to evacuate him to Masaka Regional Referral hospital and quarantine his parents are underway.

The total samples that were tested were 2,484.
