Thanks to the support of Sida (https://www.sida.se/en), TWAS (www.twas.org) has launched a new PhD Scholarship Programme, focusing on Climate Research for Students from Least Developed Countries (LDCs). The programme is called: “TWAS-Sida PhD Scholarships for Climate Research for students from LDCs”.
The first call for applications has just opened, and PhD scholarships will be awarded to promising candidates from LDCs (https://unctad.org/topic/least-developed-countries/list). Applicants must have obtained their MSc in a scientific area relevant to the topic of climate change, which is broad and interdisciplinary, or they must obtain it by December 2022.
Deadline: 5 October 2022. Age limit: 35 Male, 40 Female. Nationality: LDCs only. Minimum degree held: MSc.
