Uganda has recorded 2 new COVID-19 deaths bringing the total COVID-19 deaths to 48.
The Ministry of Health confirms has also confirmed 190 new COVID cases from samples tested on 9th September 2020.
The cumulative confirmed COVID cases in Uganda are now 4,291.

Uganda records one new COVID-19 death.
Uganda has recorded one new COVID-19 death bringing the total COVID-19 deaths to 33.
The Ministry of Health confirms that the deceased is a Ugandan male aged 40 years, a resident of Wakiso district.
176 new COVID cases have been confirmed by the Health Ministry from samples tested on 2nd September 2020.
Uganda has recorded 3 new COVID-19 deaths bringing the total COVID-19 deaths to 19.
The Ministry of Health confirms that the deceased are two males aged 45 and 31-year-old and a 57-year-old female who passed on while in admission at different private hospitals in Kampala. All the deceased presented with signs and symptoms for COVID-19.
Uganda has registered another COVID-19 death. The brings the total COVID-19 deaths to 13.
The Ministry of Health confirms that the deceased is a 50-year-old Ugandan Male, resident of Kiryandongo who presented with signs and symptoms for COVID-19.
49 new COVID cases have been confirmed by the Health Ministry from samples tested on 14th August 2020.
The Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) is partnering with Imperial College London to start the first Covid-19 vaccine trial in the country by December. Prof Pontiano Kaleebu, the UVRI Director, while addressing the daily Monitor news, informed them that they are completing necessary internal processes before beginning to enrol volunteers for the trial.
Results of COVID-19 tests done on 04 August 2020 confirm 10 new cases. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans to-date is 1,213.
